“Turkeys roasted in the ovens of New Hope Baptist Church in West Brighton came by way of The Teddy Atlas Foundation, the Uncle Chase Foundation and NAACP.”
 
		
		UCF and Community Health Action of Staten Island and other groups hosted an event on Tuesday, Nov. 22 where they provided more than 150 residents with household goods, non-perishable food, cleaning supplies from Amazon, and 30 bags of food provided by the Dr. Theodore A. Atlas Foundation.
“The Atlas Foundation is a staple of community service that works year-round with local families and just being involved with them with an event like this is very rewarding,” said Coach Michael Mauro

The Atlas Foundation holds an annual dinner, which is the single largest source of the Foundation’s donations. Over one thousand supporters attend the “Teddy” Dinner, along with numerous celebrity athletes and actors who show their support for the work of the Foundation.
